Hardly a tournament goes by without him pulling off some spectacular shot, but his closing out of the 2008 Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial was something special. Missing the fairway left into rough in trees down the 72nd hole with the tournament on the line is not advisable but somehow Mickleson was able to conjure up a 140 yard wedge shot under the branches of one tree and up over the top of another tree to finish 9 feet from the flag. Inevitably the putt was holed and the tournament duly won.
